School survey

Hedland Senior High School parents have been invited to participate in our Hedland SHS Parent Survey for 2018. The survey is being hosted by School Survey, a web-based survey response data collection tool which is ministerially approved under the National Education Agreement and Schools Assistance Act 2008.

The purpose of this survey is to gain up-to-date feedback from parents and guardians within our school community in order to gain a baseline data set for future communications and school planning. Your participation in the survey will help us better understand our strengths and weaknesses and how we can strive for success for our students and school community.

This survey will be completely anonymous, however the data for questions 1 to 4 can be viewed at a jurisdiction level by the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority and can be used for a number of purposes including how responses effect estimates, basic demographics and other general data analysis.

In an effort to allow everyone within our school community to have the opportunity to participate in this survey, we have emailed the survey link to all parents and guardians who have provided the school with an email address and sent the link as an SMS to all parents and guardians who have provided the school with a mobile number, as well as having hard copy surveys available at the administration desk on Hamilton Road, South Hedland.

If you have any questions regarding this survey, please contact our Media and Marketing Officer, Taylar Amonini, on 9172 8000 or email Taylar.Amonini@education.wa.edu.au.
