Dear Parents and caregivers
Year 10 Keys for Life Parent/Student Information Night
During term 1 all Year 10 students participate in Keys for Life, which is a ten-lesson program that is linked to the Australian Curriculum, WA Licensing System and WA Certificate of Education. Students are involved in activities that promote safe driving attitudes and behaviours prior to obtaining a full driver’s licence. Keys for Life also builds a culture of respect, responsibility and safety, and an appreciation that driving is a privilege, not a right.
Peter Mannis from SDERA (School Drug Education and Road Aware) is coming to meet with families and students for a 1 hour workshop on Wednesday. It provides families and teenagers with important information and tips about the learning to drive process, crash avoidance and the licensing system.
When: Wednesday 28th February at 6.00pm
Where: Hedland Senior High School Library
