The purpose of the Student Council is to create a better school environment for the students at Hedland Senior High School. It is our duty as the Student Council to organise important events such as R U OK week, Harmony day and Anzac Day. It is also our mission to make school life more enjoyable for students, such as creating fun and informative activities and incursions for students to attend.
The Student Council consists of Student Councillors that represent the Years 7 to 11 students. Prefects are selected from the Year 12’s. All students are given the opportunity to apply to be part of the Student Council by submitting the application at the start of the year. We also provide students with the platform to voice their concerns or ideas to the school and community.
