Thursday 6th March the Rise Up program and team welcomed families, big brothers and younger sisters, friends, aunties, uncles, proud parents and invited guests to an auspicious event. Today we celebrated 38 students into the 2025 student leader’s cohort. Family, friends, staff and invited guests were invited to pin a student leader badge to their young person. There was a strong sense of pride, love and excitement in the room as each student leader was announced. The Rise Up team along with Hedland Senior High School Executive team acknowledge and appreciate the continued support and vision from BHP Pilbara Education Partnership. Rise Up program is an extra-ordinary program. Young people create and action unimaginable opportunities to improve, achieve, lead and build community through a clear and defined purpose.
